Anna Miniewicz
EUIPO Professional Representative · Polish attorney-at-law

I advise international businesses, brands and technology companies on EU trademarks, designs, brand protection and technology-related agreements.

My practice combines EUIPO representation with broader experience in intellectual property, commercial contracts and disputes, allowing me to assess IP issues in their wider business context.

Credentials

  • Polish attorney-at-law since 2016

  • EUIPO Professional Representative

  • Representative before the Polish Patent Office

  • Founder of IP-MC Law Firm

  • Experience in private practice and in-house IP Legal Team

  • Working languages: English and Polish

Experience

Before establishing IP-MC Law Firm, I worked with law firms in Wrocław and Warsaw and supported one of the leading food groups in Central and Eastern Europe as part of its Intellectual Property Legal Team.

Today, I advise businesses both on protecting their IP assets and on using them effectively in commercial relationships, market expansion and enforcement.

Selected experience

  • Prepared an action before the General Court of the European Union challenging the refusal of an EU trademark application. The General Court upheld the action, resulting in a favourable outcome for the client.

  • Successfully handled proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, resulting in the invalidation of a competitor’s industrial design and the revocation of the competitor’s trademark rights.

  • Obtained interim relief for a client in an EU trademark infringement matter, prohibiting the defendant from using the contested sign while the dispute was pending.

  • Advised on copyright issues arising from a dispute following an M&A transaction, contributing to a successful insurance recovery for the client.

  • Advised on a complex EU regulatory matter concerning dual food quality, where my legal analysis contributed to a change in the methodology previously applied by the administrative authority, with a beneficial outcome for the client.
