Previously, I cooperated with law firms in Wrocław and a renowned law firm in Warsaw. As an in-house lawyer, I supported one of the most significant food concerns in Central and Eastern Europe in their Intellectual Property Legal Team.
Some of my notable achievements:
Preparing a draft complaint to the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg regarding the refusal to register an EU trade mark, which was then upheld - the win for the Client.
Preparing applications for the invalidation of an industrial design and extinguishing a trademark accepted by the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland.
Preparing a cassation appeal (labour law) accepted by the Supreme Court - the win for the Client.
Preparing a complaint against the supervisory decision of the Voivode of Lower Silesia, which was accepted by the Provincial Administrative Court in Wrocław.
Obtaining security for the claim by prohibiting the defendant from using the European trademark before the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, granted after considering a complaint against the decision of the Court of Community Trademarks and Industrial Designs in Warsaw.
Preparing arguments regarding copyright in a dispute with the insurer concerning a company takeover transaction, ending with the payment of benefits to the insured Client.
One of the complex cases I advised on involved dual food quality in the EU. My expertise in this area led to a change in the methodology previously adopted by the administrative body, demonstrating my ability to navigate intricate legal issues also in a specific technological context.
